Young Frankenstein

I recently photographed the last two dress rehearsals of a local theaters production of Mel Brook’s Young Frankenstein. In their fifth season, Exit 82 Theater Company is a non profit organization based out of Toms River, NJ and is comprised of an all volunteer staff and crew with an age range of 15 – 45.

I am a fan of the movie and true to it’s namesake, this musical was side splitting hysterical. The performers were fabulous in their roles, the costumes great and the props were perfect. I was blown away by the details the actors and actresses put forth in their facial expressions, body positions and tone of voice. Roughly a two hour performance including intermission, I encourage everyone in the area to attend one of this weekends final performances at the Ocean County College Arts and Community Center. The shows are Friday and Saturday night with Matinees on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. I promise you will not be disappointed.
